The designer seems to have made it fun to look at with its alien hammerhead look and two staring unblinking eyes.
The camera is able to offer stereoscopic effects in videos and 3D still pictures. Its compatible with most things you do on the net and that includes most IM programs. You could choose to switch to normal 2D mode when you finally get tired of the novelty (as I am sure you will) so its not a complete waste of money.
