The most eco-friendly handset prize would undoubtedly go to Motorola for creating a cell phone thats made out of recycled materials. Motorola promises that the phone has been made entirely from carbon neutral materials / sources. The W233 has a 128X128 pixels screen (1.6 inches) and can take up to 2GB microSD memory.

As well as using recycled materials for the plastic casing, the company also pledged to offset the carbon dioxide used in manufacturing, distribution and operation of the phone through investments in renewable energy sources and reforestation. The W233, a sure hit for the planet lovers will go on sale from T-Mobile soon. However Motorola did not mention pricing details at the handsets launch in CES.
