Just like camera phones were the absolute thing to have a few years ago, its going to be projector phones that will change the global scene in the next couple of years. Along with SD cards that can hold 1 TB of data, this means you just store your favorite movies on your handset and given a spare moment project the movie onto any close surface.

Not only does this save peering into that tiny screen, but instant projection means you could floor Mr. Jobs with your great idea when you happen to run into him.

At CES , we finally came across the first projector phone thats not just a concept. Its a quad band GSM handset from Logic Wireless (a completely new company thats dropped in out of the blue) plus they even threw in a 3 megapixel camera in addition to the projector. An external speaker is mandatory (built-in) and this makes this the perfect tool to watch movies instantaneously. The handset is able to project an image up to 64 inches and is expected to do so for up to 2 hours thanks to its 1800mAh battery.

Logic Wireless plans to sell its phone projector, complete with a 2.4 inches QVGA (240×320 pixels) touch screen display, for $600 sans contract.
