The Armani nametag which is almost a synonym for fashion is being used by Samsung to bring out a suave sophisticated handset - the Samsung Armani Night Effect. There is nothing extraordinarily different about the Armani , yet it stands apart. The Night Effect comes from the Emporio Armani logo which glows when the handset is active.
Since the phone is meant for the young and funky crowd who loves to indulge in the game of one-upmanship ; this should become yet another way in which you could show your fashion superiority.
The Samsung Armani Night Effect was designed after Georgio Armani fell in love with his store in Tokyo which is lit up every night with LEDs. The black glossy surface of the handset serves as a perfect background for the cool multicolored LEDs.
Dedicated music controls on the sides show just how serious the handset is at targetting the young yuppy segment. In addition to the simple graphical user interface , Samsung has developed what they are calling as the audio user interface. Special Emporio Armani compositions serve as ringtones which are supposed to further the cause of fashion by their sound.
For music lovers theres 120 megabytes of internal memory (which is obviously not enough) so its complemented by a microSD card slot.
Features:
- 2.2 inch QVGA screen
- 3 Megapixel Camera
- Music Hot keys
- 3G Equipped
- Bluetooth Connectivity
- Media player with Video Recorder
- FM Radio
- 3.5mm Audio Jack
DialPhone informs us that the Samsung Armani Night Effect will also feature Shazam (not the cartoon character, but the music service that allows you to recognise music). The handset will be sold exclusively by Vodaphone and Phones 4 U.
