Heres an interesting product. It promises to do for a fraction what most studios would charge a bomb for. convert any negatives into digital photographs. It can do the same for slides as well. While the R2D2 webcam has been seen earlier, the Lightsaber handset (land line instrument) certainly looks spanking new out of the ideas department. Ricoh-G600.jpg

A Ricoh was what my grandfather got me as my first camera. This was the era prior to digital cameras being the norm and it handled beautifully. Ricoh has always managed to produce excellent cameras and the G600 should be a lovely one as well. Ricoh claims that the G600 is a rugged camera and can take its fair share of dust and water without any trouble.

Ever since Futurama began, its Leela (or is it Lila) who has caught my fancy. The big boobs and the one eye mean that I can more or less get a good look before she notices. However once I got hooked on to the toon, it was Bender which stole my heart. The alcoholic robot has a sarcastic point to make in most of his appearances. This webcam pays homage to all things robotic by being in the form of Bender.
