Another ULPC - these sure are flying out of the manufacturers - with good reason too, sales of this particular segment are expected to hit all time highs in this year. Whats really unfortunate is that when they are announced, the makers promise us one price and by the time they reach the stores, the prices have nearly doubled. I understand its important to keep quality concerns going especially in low cost computers, but surely this could be worked upon?

In order to ensure that their high end or latest products such as Vista are not cannibalized by sales of the cheaper laptops such as eeePC , Microsoft has decided on limiting the capabilities of these cheaper machines. Microsoft plans to offer PC makers steep discounts on Windows XP Home Edition to encourage them to use that OS instead of Linux on ultra low-cost PCs (ULPCs).

To be eligible, however, the PC vendors that make ULPCs must limit screen sizes to 10.2 inches and hard drives to 80G bytes, and they cannot offer touch-screen PCs.

Lets see, ask any non-nerd off the streets whether he knows anything about Linux. Chances are the first things that he shall tell you is that its supposed to be a free OS of some kind. He would know this even if he were not a nerd and even if he has never tried out Linux in his or her lifetime. And as a matter of fact, his statement would be completely correct.

Being Optimus Prime, he isnt contended to do just one thing but multi tasks, he keeps screaming orders as soon as he detects a new bot has joined his team (read new gadget connected to his ports). This is easily on of the most detailed Transformers product on the market and must buy for a die-hard fan.

The all-spark talked and so can Optimus Prime, but he just looks so much better than the mythical all-spark. So he is similar to the All-Spark USB hub in most ways except for his design.

Microsoft is akin to a teenager who is in love for the first time. Kind of like where the girl plays Will he? Wont he? game by plucking out all the flowers in the garden and ruining them by plucking out all the petals. After forcing consumers to go for the Vista by claiming that they would not support XP beyond mid 2008 ; Microsfot has now back tracked.
