One of the most creatively designed docks ever for the iPod, the Egg dock looks pretty and stays much out of the way without bringing out any more wires despite adding speakers, an iPod charger and a sub-woofer to my desk.

This speaker has to be the most unusual speaker that I have ever come across. It looks simple but connects to the PC via a USB port and has a flexible cord to boot. More unusually for a speaker, its only one. Werent speakers like Mandarin ducks? Always in pairs? Thats certainly what I thought, and you better too unless you dont prefer stereo sound.

If iPods arent cutting it enough, the Sansa Fuze is one of your best bets. The Einsteins at Apple never figured out how to add FM radio to the iPod. And before the Apple Fanboys start flaming me that they dont really need it, thats besides the point. It should be there for such a pricey device for those few (yours truly included) who do need it.

R2-D2 is sure getting around these days. Yesterday he nearly passed off as R3-D3 which in case you didnt know is R2 D2 from the future and can project HD movies on to wherever you choose. R2-D2 in his latest avatar is trying to pass off as stereo speakers and in order to not hurt his emotions, you should let him believe that he has fooled you succesfully.
